Who Are We?
Independent by nature, Anne-Laure and Henri de Pazzis have infused their mindset into the Alpilles Bio store, which they have owned since 2011. Driven by a passion for good food and organic farming, they have developed the grocery store into a reference point in the Alpilles region. A rigorous selection of products, based on a deep understanding of each craftsman and farmer’s methods, as well as the nutritional balance of foods, has allowed for a varied and high-quality offer. The store is a member of a cooperative of independents, Koalibio, where family-run businesses share a common vision. The team of 17 people who run the store consists of passionate individuals, each responsible for a specific section and able to provide useful advice.
Koalibio brings together passionate organic stores: men and women who wish to offer you the best of organic products with a human touch every day. To share this common passion for the profession, they have chosen to connect with each other to facilitate their daily lives as local organic merchants.

Our mission is to offer quality food that is rooted in agriculture respectful of the soil and everything that makes up the environment in which it is established. This is what organic farming means when properly understood, and this is how we choose our products: capable of enhancing the health of consumers and contributing to the renewal of soil fertility. Beneficial for life in its physical and spiritual dimensions, viewing the land as a nourishing landscape, our team is driven by this passion and the desire to share it, which is why everyone is present to welcome, inform, and convey knowledge.
Because we want quality to be accessible to the greatest number of people, all our sections are filled with products at the best prices without compromising our quality criteria. It is possible to do your daily shopping while keeping control over the value of your basket. Environmentalism touches every aspect of our work. We encourage our customers to reduce their use of packaging by offering numerous bulk products and microfiltered water instead of bottled water. Two-thirds of the electricity consumed by the store is produced by solar panels present on our roof.
